Urban Artist

Chris Pegg is a former graffiti artist from Lancashire. “My work can range from simple ink sketches to abstract and street art, all of which encapsulate a strong urban feel” says Chris. Mediums include acrylic, oils, ink, pencil and spray paint. Subject matter consists of the artists’ view of society, city life and street culture. Also of influence is Chris’s condition, as a long term sufferer of acute anxiety he uses his artwork to channel his emotions and tries to portray fears, anxieties, misconceptions and observations of which he believes many people share. “I hope my work stirs an emotion in people, making them think, debate or simply smile”.
