Victor Elford
Victor Elford was a British landscape painter known both for his depictions of idyllic landscapes in England. Born in Devonshire, United Kingdom in 1911, Elford was largely self-taught. A pilot in the Royal Air Force during World War II, he was stationed in West Africa, during which time his work became more abstracted. Elford artist died in 2003. Today, his work can be found in the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery in Devon.
